  These people are not customer service oriented. They try to add costs at every chance they get and just drive around all day nit picking what you do. If you dont want privacy and want to get ripped off this is the right place. If you want peace and affordability... look elsewhere.

  A definite NO! We slept in the teepee, the floors were soaked, foam mats were wet and it was musty. They buckle and dime you for every little thing and try to charge you extra fees once there. The place is run down and not at all what it looks like in pictures. Do yourself a favour and stay at kicking mule ranch down the road, lovely people, fully furnished and beautiful! Plus almost $30 cheaper per night and extremely well kept! Wish we had of known prior to booking at Gordon's! We tried to leave early because it was disgusting and we were told too bad, we wouldn't get any sort of refund! This place shouldn't even get a 1 and I'm not a picky or very hard to please woman at all!

  There advertising is misleading. Went for the advertised Aurora Borealis weekend. But was told it was shifted to tomorrow.

  What a wonderful experience! We went to the wolf howl on Friday, astronomy night on Saturday and stayed in the dark sky reserve camping. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely want to come back again soon!

  Stayed for one night in the forest camping. When booking I requested a site that was secluded and boy did they deliver! We had a wonderful site away from any other campers. We were down the end of a row of sites, the forest was thick between the sites and there was no one for 3 sites down.

  We had a lovely stay and were very happy with our choice of accommodations on Manitoulin.

  Nice place to go off the grid. Acceptable facilities to an eco conscious camper.
